By some quirky coincidence, the owner of Maple Hill Dryer Balls was located so close to me that I took a short car ride to meet her! I decided she was being generous in offering a review and giveaway, the least I could do in return was save her some shipping costs if I could. [The only other 'internet personality' I had met in person was Rachel Lincoln Sarnoff, formerly of Healthy Child Healthy World.]

When I met Rebecca, she had just finished rolling and scenting and packing 300 dryer balls!! I was impressed. She met me going out for a well-deserved break with her two rambunctious little girls. During our conversation she said something that I will never forget, 'bloggers work very hard'. I could not at that moment think of a more modest and hard-working woman than Rebecca, to give me such credit when she had in fact spent all day literally working non-stop to get her orders made and shipped. Wow.

I got a chance to review her extra large dryer balls. I chose unscented because I try my best to limit  scents in my daily life.  The dryer balls were definitely a lot bigger than my other sets of dryer balls. They lived up to the extra large description. They were heavy and hearty. I liked that they were 'made of roving' which holds up better to repeated use. Here are the balls I have used for some weeks now, pretty much good as new!

Investing in several wool dryer balls will save you on drying time, money, energy and chemicals. And if you like to line dry in the sun, just toss that clean laundry in the dryer with your dryer balls on 'air dry' and they will be tossed soft. Zero cost. Don't you just love that?

You can check out the offerings at Maple Hill Dryer Balls and see which scent and size fit your fancy and laundry needs.  You might even be able to snag a few at your local Fruitful Yield Store.

Come back on June 4th to win your own set of 2 Extra Large Unscented Wool Dryer Balls during the Fluffy Butts giveaway.

Disclosure: I was provided a free product for review. The opinions in this review are my own true experiences, however, yours may be different.
